a state Governor serve more than one term is undoubtedly due to Virginia’s love of tradition and hesitancy to change. That has served the state well in the past, keeping it fiscally stable while many other states plunged deeply into debt and inflicted higher and higher taxes on their citizens.
If asked to vote on the subject, I’m not sure what I’d do, though I believe the subject should be given to voters to make the choice. People who complain the four years isn’t enough to get things done forget that the United States went to war, with Germany and totally defeated that country in less than four years.
