Rappahannock Ncwi Staff Writers - Willie Shanks had an outstanding day for the RCHS track team in a meet held at Brentsville last Wednesday. l£He placed first in the triple jump (37’6-l/4”), long jump (18’7”), 100m rap {11.66), and 200m run (24.72), and as a member of the 4x100 relay team (48.56). Willie also placed second in the high jump, at 5’4”. Other members of the relay team were Jason Carter, Mike Wolfe and R.J. White. {.<Mark Jenkins won the 3200m run with a time of 11.08 and won the lCpOm. at 4.56. He placed third in the Jong jump with a distance of \l'f\ * I-Eaming fourth place were Jason Cotter with 12.52 in the 100m; Ozzie Yihar with 5.08.5 in the 1600m and 2JA in the 800m. £ The boys’ team scored a total of 5P points to place second.
