Rappahannock girls earned three out of the four places in the 12 and under group. Berkeley Hobson won at 61:06. Shiloh Proper came in at 61:30, and Jennifer Waters, whose brother Jason won the Eva Smith Memorial last year, finished at 67:12.
More locals include Grace Sims who won in her age group of 60 and over and Libby Wharton who placed second at in that group. Former Eva Smith Memorial winner Merrill Strange placed second in the 45-49 group with a time of 62:27. Holly Gangel was third in the 13-18 age group, coming in at 51:55.
