Seymour Upton and Herbert Ferber. The use of a direct metal process in the fabrication of these pieces achieves startling contrasts of textured metals with highly polished surfaces. Mr. Deffenbaugh has exhibited widely in Virginia since moving here from the Boston area in 1992.
