Need Summer Work?
The Summer Youth Work Clearinghouse is still looking for both workers and employers. Any Rappahannock County residents less than 19 years old can sign up for work at the County Building Office, located in the basement of the Peter Kramer building in Washington, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
First Day Sports Practice
The first day of sports tryouts at RCHS for girls’ basketball will be from 8-10 a.m. for junior varsity and 10 a.m. to noon for varsity on Aug. 14. For more information, call Mike Tupper at 987-8575.
