Elementary Principal Rave Tupper and assistant principal Richard Smith have decided to divide their responsibilities by ' serving as “co-principals” with each taking responsibility for four grade lev els.

Mrs. Tupper will work primarily vyth the youngest students. Her office will be in the new addition, and she will handle students in kindergarten through third grade.

Mr. Smith will have an office where the main office is now, and he will be primarily responsible for fourth through seventh-grade students.

They expect to communicate constantly and make decisions jointly.

Mrs. Tupper said she wants to involve the faculty in planning and to put effort into making improvements where the “effort to impact” ratio shows the smallest effort can have the most impact.
