She remembers that she woke up on Labor Day with a vision of a walk that would help to bring healing to the Earth and its people. She had been told where and how to travel and had been instructed who to contact. She left her Cape Cod home and walked 200 miles alone, sleeping wherever she could find safe shelter.
After reaching Connecticut, she found that she did not have the strength to continue. She returned home exhausted and heartbroken. She said, “I prayed to the Creator, ‘Why did you give me this vision? I did what you told me, but 1 can’t finish.”'
Her prayer was soon answered, she said. She found that a similar walk had been organized and was traveling right past her home. She discovered that the route of the Sunbow 5 journey was the same as the one she had begun. “The Creator is directing us,” she said.
“We really don’t have any organization; we are walking on faith and have seen miracles every day.” she said. “Most people can’t just drop everything and join our walk, but some walk with us for a few days or help by offering food or shelter. It's a good sign of support. We take their walk with us."
Debbie Jimenez, a Fauquier County resident, said that hosts are needed in the Roanoke area. Anyone who knows of someone who would like to provide a campsite for the travelers may call Ms. Jimenez at 3473012.
