All the money earned from the sale of donated books goes to buy new books for the library. The Friends have donated almost $700 in the last two months so that children would have new books to read this summer. The library hopes to add some adult audio tapes and reference materials with some of the money from the July 4th book sale.
The library has adult paperbacks and hardbacks for sale at all times. Hardbacks sell for $2 and paperbacks for 25 cents. This is great if you are going on vacation and want something to read but don’t want to worry about returning them.
Books for sale are in two bookcases in the lobby, and donations are always accepted. They can be brought to the library from 10 a m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 10 a m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday.
