Country Veal with Pork Pate with Pistachios. Salads include Black-eyed Pea Salad with Virginia Ham and Roasted Peppers, and a Spinach Salad with Fried Oysters, Sliced Red Onions and Mushrooms with Red Wine Vinaigrettes.
The Pearsons serve a lot of seafood along with more traditional meats. A recent menu offered Roasted Atlantic Salmon, Mussels, Calamari and a Broiled Rainbow Trout.
The wine list features a large variety of wines from Virginia, California, the Pacific Northwest, France and Italy. The list runs for 10 pages, and several of the wines are available by the glass also. Wine dinners, theme brunches and special food events will be held to celebrate American food and wine.
They also feature a beer list which includes domestic and imported ales, porters, stouts and pilsners, plus several well-known brands. The Pearsons are planning an Octoberfest dinner this fall, and will be catering the “Blessing of the Vines and Harvest” celebration at Oasis Vineyards on Aug. 19.
