To the Editor:
I would like to remind people that in this hurry up world we too often forget to show appreciation for those who have raised and loved us. ~ When a loved one dies we then remember too late. "I should have spent more time with them or done more.” We need to take the time now to acknowledge their caring and to show the love we feel for them. Take the time to say “1 love you. I appreciate what you have done for me.”
Nursing homes, while not what we often prefer for our loved ones, can be necessary. When someone lives in a nursing home we may neglect them and then feel the guilt of not having given the time. When the loved one dies we may question. “Did mother or father know I really loved them?" The guilt felt when we don't show our caring can make pain and
