The county government wants to purchase land belonging, to Rosemary Wire Anderson and William W. Anderson for a centralized trash collection site and perhaps other uses.
In a resolution adopted unanimously Monday afternoon the Board of Supervisors stated they wished to acquire land from the Andersons “for public purposes” and would use “the power of eminent domain” if necessary.
