Hitt Family Dinner
Anyone interested in learning about the history of the Hitt family is invited to a dinner to be held Friday, July 19 at the Holiday Inn (Aberdeen Bam) in Culpeper. A private room is being reserved where those attending can order from the menu and pay individually. Genealogists will gather at 5:30 p.m. to exchange information. A german dance will be demonstrated at 7 p.m. The meal will be at 7:30 p.m. A video will be shown after the meal. To make reservations contact Mrs. H.W. Benefit Auction Scheduled
A benefit auction for Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department and the Rappahannock County DARE Program will be held at 6 p.m. June 22 at Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds to benefit Sperryville V.F.D. Truck fund and DARE Program.

Auction Scheduled
The annual auction of rare treasures by the Amissville Ruritan Club will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, June 14 at Stuart Field at the Ruritan Grounds.

Proceeds will be used for interior finishing of the Community Building at Stuart Field. Please donate unwanted items and please attend the auction. All monies taken in by the Ruritans are returned to the community through various community projects.
