Jack and Ruth Preston returned home on Monday night after spending a month in Orlanda, Fla. visiting with friends and relatives. En route home they stopped over in Nashville, Term, for two days visiting with her son. While in Florida Jack had the misfortune to fall and hurt his left elbow. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Sunday Mrs. Linda Clark and daughter Amanda attended the high school graduation of Naomi Baldwin at Calvary Baptist Acadamey in Culpeper.
The Washington Baptist Church is organizing a Youth Group for grades 4-7 as of school year 96-97. Their first meeting was held Sunday, June 1 with an ice cream social with the purpose of naming their group and discussing Up coming activities. The group voted on the name “God’s Squad’ and discussed a swimming party for August.
