Benefit Closing Sale
Spring Mountain Waldorf School closing sale/benefit will be held Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine at the School on Mt. Salem Avenue in Little Washington. Highlights of the sale include nice upright piano, chest freezer, Toshiba copy machine, almost new Electrolux vacuum, pentatonic flutes, lyre, xylophone, and recorders; high-quality children’s art supplies, children’s desks, tables, and oak chairs. Participants Needed
Individuals and organizations are invited to participate in the upcoming Fourth of July parade in the Town of Washington. Those interested should contact parade organizer Ellen Manson at 675-1349. Everyone is welcome to participate. Judges will determine the most “patriotically decorated” car and bicycle and the best float.
Amissville Carnival Set

Men's Day Program Set
You are cordially invited to a Men’s Day Program at Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill on Saturday, June 8. Lunch time will be 1:15-2:30 p.m. with the program at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Frederick Jones, pastor of the Star Of Bethlehem Church Triangle.
Season-End Soccer Picnic
A season-end picnic will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. It will be a potluck, held outside so children can play. The rain date will be June 9. It will be at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Tennis Lessons and Croups
Over the years in Rappahannock there has been a growing interest in tennis and to help coordinate instruction opportunities as well as possibly create playing groups and an occasional tournament or round-robin event, Hunt Harris asks for community members to call him at 675-1879 or 987-9061. Hunt will be offering instruction beginning in June.
