WCDS Shines
In Latin Tests
Sixty students from Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly participated in the seventh annual National Mythology Exam.
The third through ninth graders joined over 6,000 students from the U.S., Canada and Australia in completing the test which is sponsored by The Elementary Teachers of Classics.
Four WCDS students including Christina Luke were awarded ijredals of excellence for perfect scores (in the exam. Five WCDS students including Sara Hathaway received certificates of excellence for their performance.
WCDS also announced the results" of the 1996 National Latin Exam sponsored by the American Classical League. ,!
