In the other Minor League game R.L. Rider’s Dodgers defeated David and Donna Sheffield’s Indians 12-9. Zachery Tamburello was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts. Alex Hammer and Jacob Dodson led the hitting for the Dodgers with two hits each. Zachary added a home run.
In Major League action Dr. Snyder’s Pirates won over Early’s Carpet’s Orioles 23-6. Brandon Holloway was the winning pitcher. For the Pirates Brandon also led the hitting with two doubles, two triples and a homer driving in 11 runs. John Letsen added five RBIs with two singles and a double, and Zach Ashby had three more RBIs with two singles and a homer. Phillip Deal led the hitting for the Orioles with two singles and two RBIs.
In the other Major League game Rankin’s Sporting Goods’s Senators defeated the Rappahannock National Bank’s Red Sox 12-8. Winning pitcher Noah Starks and losing pitcher Ryan Brown each had 10 strikeouts. Leading the hitting for the Senators were Phillip Thomas with three singles and a homer and four RBIs and Gregory Hensley with a single and triple and another four RBIs. Ryan Brown, Michael O’Neill'and Phillip Tamburello had three hits each for the Red Sox.
