Volleyball Camp Planned
There will be a summer volleyball camp this year at Rappahannock County High School. There will be two sessions of camp; one session for varsity level (June 24-26) and one session for junior varsity level (June 27-29). Both sessions will run from 1 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The price of the camp is $45, which includes a camp t-shirt. You may pick up a registration form in the office at RCHS. If you have any questions feel free to call 987-8575.
Soccer Camp Open for Registration
The Rappahannock Soccer League is sponsoring a local soccer camp, July 8-12. The mini-camp, for ages 6 and 7, will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $100. The older camp, ages 7-14, will run 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and costs $125.
The camp-will be held on the RCF.S playing fields. The instructors are from the Soccer Academy in Fairfax, an organization well-known for its high-caliber of soccer training. Basketball Camp at Highland
Basketball Camp will be held at Highland in Warrenton July 29-Aug. 2 and Aug. 5-9 from 9«qt>. to 1 p.m., daily. The cost is $75 per camper. The director is Coach Gary Leake, a former basketball coach at Osbourn Park High School, Rappahannock County High School and Wakefield School. Camp features included shooting competitions, team tournament competitions, individual skill instruction, free camp t-shirt and awards ceremony. For more information call 347-1221.
