The Republican Parly-sponsored forum on Goals 2000 was not about Goals 2000 at all, but rather about new ideas in vocational education.
Led by Rebecca Bocchino and Mary Breed from Fairfax, the meeting consis^d largely of their showing a series of pages from different sources on an overhead projector and their interpretation that these represent frightening trends in American education and education in Fairfax County, in particular.
