Cubmaster Joe Peregory and his son Joseph spent the weekend at Camp Rock Enon at Gore Va. attending the Father-Son Camp of which Mr. Peregory was Program Director.
Saturday afternoon the girl scouts held their Girl Scout Fly-Up Ceremony at Rappahannock High School. Two girls from our area were in this group, Sarah Lyn Hetzer of “Our Farm” who went up to Daisy Girl Scout and Jennifer Peregory of Castleton Ford Road who went from Brownie to Junior Girl Scout. Following th^s meeting the group traveled to Rappahannock Park wherethey enjoyed a picnic.
Birthday greetings go out to Miss Chrissy Grigsby who celebrates her 16th today, Wednesday.
Joseph Peregory is to be congratulated upon receiving his “tenderfoot badge” in Scouts at the Court of Honor on Tuesday.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Nellie Dwyer Marsh, a resident of Boston for many years who passed avfray last Thursday at Culpeper Health Care Center at 96 years of age.
At the Awards Assembly held at the Culpeper County High School on Thursday our own Robert Hefner won the Virginia State Defense Force Award.
