Road Hearing
VDOT will hold an open-forum hearing on proposed improvements to Route 630 off U S. 522 between Flint Hill and Huntly from 5-8 p.m., on Tuesday, June 18, at the Wakefield Country Day School.
The purpose of the proposed improvements is to lower hills, ease curves and install guardrail for additional vehicular safety and to protect drainage structures on Route 630, according to VDOT.
Tax Relief
The deadline for filing an application for tax relief for the low income elderly and disabled is July 1. An application must be filed each year. For further information call the Commissioner of Revenue’s Office at 6753513.
