Miss Joan Ruth Sills, 76, of Viewtown died on Thursday, June 6 at her residence. I iShe was born in Cleveland, the daughter of Frank Earl and Dorothy Lawrence Sills. - She had lived most of her life in •the Cleveland, Ohio area and had Amoved to Marshall during the 1980’s. She had returned to Ohio for a short time before she came to live with her fiiece and her husband, Cici and iByron Brayton in Viewtown in I August 1995. ■ She was a member of Leeds •Episcopal Church. !• Miss Sills spent her entire'working career and retired from the Parker Hannifin Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. During her long career she was ’ a space component tolerance inspec* tor .and the first female shop steward *for the Machinists Union AF of ••JL/C'lO employees at Parker Hannifin. % She is survived by her brother, fclarence F. Sills Col. USA (Ret) of -jDrlean, 18 nieces and nephews, Six * £reat nieces and nephews and six * great-great-nieces and nephews. *» A memorial service will be held *!at a later date at Leeds Episcopal *.
