Mosby’s Confederacy is again under siege.
-The pressure is not from Federal 1 Cavalry this time, but from severe development pressures moving up the Little River Turnpike, today known as the John S. Mosby Highway (U.S. 50).
The Mt. Zion Church Preservation Association will be sponsoring “Eyewitness to War: A Living History” June 22-23 at the Mt. Zion, an old school Baptist church 1.5 miles east of Aldie.
Starting at 10 a.m. each morning living historians and re-enactors will blend into a series of actual events which took place on those same dates, but in the year 1863.
