The local youth sports camp season gets underway next week with both soccer and “rookie” baseball camps July 19-23. The Rappahannock Soccer League is organizing the soccer camp, and Coach Donn Hackney is organizing the baseball camp.
Volleyball camps follow the next week with varsity camp June 24-26 and JV volleyball camp June 27-29. Coach Laura Conklin is organizing the volleyball camps.
There is a break in the camp season the following week, and basketball camps begin July 8. Coach Eugene Baltimore has scheduled a boys’ basketball camp for July 8-12 and a basketball camp for girls July 15-19.
