Rev. and Mrs. L. Starke Jones were Friday overnight guests of their daughter, Linda Jones in Staunton.
Die and Michele Burke and Richard and Rena Burke had dinner at Brookside near Luray on Sunday evening.
Rug Hooking
Workshop Set
Belle Grove Plantation, the National Trust for Historic Preservation house museum located one mile south of Middletown will offer a traditional wool rug hooking workshop. The workshop will be geared to the skills of beginning and intermediate students. The class will be taught by accredited teacher, Isabel Brooker.
The workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 8. The price is $45 which includes instruction, a kit and a hook. Students should bring sharp scissors, a 12” or 14” hoop and a sandwich.
