Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 9 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Eaton officiating.
Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William’Perkins, Joseph Kelly, James Knieff, William Perkins Jr., Andrew Lewis, Brian Baum, Markwood Butler and Richard Silliman.

Andrew M. Pennington Sr. 90, of Washington, died on Saturday, June 8 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was born Dec. 29, 1905, in Chestertown, Md.
He was retired from the National Bureau of Standards.
he was a resident of Washington for 25 years and was an avid hunter and marksman.
He was a member of. the Washington Masonic Lodge #78 A.F. and A.M.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia H. Pennington of Washington; one daughter, Ellen P. Tharpe of Waynesville, Ga.; two sons, Andrew M. Pennington Jr. of Dayton and Robert L. Pennington of Helena, Mt. and two step-sons, Lloyd Hill of Miami, Fla. and Grant Hill of Richmond.
He is also survived by one sister,. Vera Pennington of Baltimore, Md., 10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. _ .
He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Elsie B. Pennington.
