Johnny Michael Mathes celebrated his third birthday on Saturday with a party at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pullen. Guests were Debbie Knick and Sean Michael of Washington, Tim and Marjorie Atkins of Unionville and granddaughters, Haley Atkins of Harrisonburg and Danielle Atkins of Rhodesville, Randy and Rebecca Hoffman and Stephanie of Louisa, Jack Pullen of Luray, Angie Pullen, Greg Hickerson, Melody and Steve Young and Daniel, Linda Dwyer, Richie Dwyer, Tammy Dwyer and Brittany and Neil Atkins, all of Sperryville.

Johnny Mike received many nice gifts and had a great time. We extend belated birthday wishes' to him.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayland and Tiffany spent from Friday until Sunday last week in Williamsburg where they attended the wedding of Miss Brenda Ducker to Gerald Jonas, Jr. on Saturday. Tiffany was the flower girl. This past Saturday they attended a barbecue in honor of the couple at her grandfather’s farm at Locust Grove.

Belated birthday wishes are extended to Vera Dunn, who celebrated her special day on Monday, June 10. We wish her much happiness. We understand there was a special song at the 211 Quickie Mart on Monday in her honor and many wished her well throughout the day.

Ms. Betty Yoklavish of Cabin John, Maryland was a Wednesday until Thursday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner. They enjoyed dinner at Graves Mountain Lodge on Wednesday.
