Volunteers tutors in Rappahannock work with adults through the Litercay Volunteers of AmericaRappahannock Chapter.
There is no charge for their services or for books and other materials or the use of computers.
They will help adult residents of Rappahannock County and nearby areas:
• Develop basic reading skills, if they are non readers.
• Improve their reading skills.
• Prepare for the high school equivalency (GED) test.
• Obtain drivers' licenses, commercial drivers' licenses (for truck drivers), or licenses required for the practice of a trade (electrical or plumbing for example).
• Use computers for any of the above purposes.
