The story was much the same for the JV team.
They lost 31-7 Tuesday night after losing 38 to 14 in the Thursday away game.
However, Coach Rhonda Jenkins also saw improvement in her team by Ttiesday. She said the defense had improved, but "we were very impatient on offense. We're not moving the ball around enough and we're losing the ball too often. Stonewall has a very good team.”
In the Thursday game Alice Gentry led the scoring with nine points and eight rebounds. Margo Haynes had eight rebounds and five steals. Katy Wilson came on off the bench and had seven rebounds.
Mandolyn Ashby led the scoring Tuesday night with four points. Alice had two points and seven rebounds. Margo Haynes had five steals.
