The races are run at catch weights and riders cannot .have reached their 18th birthday as of Jan. 1, 1996. Participants must have prior experience with a hunt Or Pony Club and have written consent of their parents to compete.
• All pony races will be run on the flat. The first race, which consists of small ponies, is for ponies 12.2 hands and under and will be approximately 1/4 mile in length. The medium pony division is for ponies over 12.2 hands not exceeding 13.2 hands and will be approximately 3/8 mile in length while the large division is for ponies over 13.2 hands not exceeding 14.2 hands at approximately 1/2 mile in length. Divisions may be consolidated.
