He said the Democrats wanted to create "new Federal bureaucracy" to handle health care, but instead under a Republican Congress there is "portability and accessibility for health insurance and .medical savings accounts."
He mentioned the welfare .reform bill and laws that force Congress to abide by the laws it passes that apply to the private sector.
He said Rep. Wolf is "not taking the election for granted."
He urged those in attendance to also support John Warner and the Dole-Kemp ticket saying they are all "good honest men."
He said when Rep. Wolf first won his 10th District seat polls showed him behind, but he won, and Mr. Irwin suggested the polls that show Dole and Kemp losing may be wrong also.
