All of Sperryville will be busy during the month of October. On October 5 and 6 there will be a free two day music and arts festival at Mountainside Market just west of Sperryville. The festival will kick-off each day at 2 p.m. in the park adjacent to the market. In addition to the musical performances, there will be arts, crafts and environmental exhibitions.
John Jackson, the internationally famous Blues Man will be performing beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 at Country Home Antiques on Main Street.
Both days there will be clowns of the Accatemple Shrine, a magician, guitarist R.W. Grandfield and children's entertainment throughout the fes've atmospheres.
The Blue Moon Cafe is the new business in town and residents are urged to support the restaurant.
Many other activities are slated for the month’of October. Faith Mountain will be celebrating with special sales on the weekend of October 12, 13 and 14. Many other events will be happening on Columbus Day weekend.
Also two Sperryville home have been selected as part of the annual Rappahannock House Tour to be held on October 19 and 20.
Bryan Clark celebrated his fourth birthday on Saturday, Sept. 28 with a party hosted by his mother Ms. Donna Clark. The party was held at his grandparents home, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Jenkins.
Approximately 30 family members and friends helped Bryan celebrate his birthday.
Bryan received many nice gifts.
