PTO Meeting Set
The Rappahannock County Elementary School PTO meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in the auditorium of the elementary school. Also "reading favorites of Rappahannock" a reading program presented by students of the RCES. A used youth book sale will be after the event. Refreshments will be served. R.A.W.L. Fund-Raiser Begins ‘
During October, November and December the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will benefit from sales at the WExchange of the White Elephant in Warrenton. Donations of furniture, toys, household items, tools, clothing, etc. are urgently needed.
The White Elephant is located in the Towne Center (Food Lion) shopping center, and donations may be taken there after Oct. 1. Call Barbara Dennis at 364-2569 for more information.
Shock Trauma Class Set
A Shock Trauma Technician Class will begin Oct. 10 at Washington Fire Department and Rescue Squad. To enroll call 825-6849.
Christmas Craft Bazaar Set
The ladies of the Culpeper United Methodist Church will be sponsoring their 10th annual Christmas craft bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The bazaar will be held at the Culpeper United Methodist Church located on Oaklawn Drive in Culpeper.
Craft tables are available to rent for S25 each. All tables are being reserved on a first come, first serve basis. To,reserve a table, please contact Mary Lou Phillips, 825-0108. Be prepared to provide name, address telephone, type of craft(s), and special set-up needs.
