Among unseeded teams RCHS girls came in 12 out of 15 teams, but most of the other teams were from AA or AAA schools. They beat out Falls Church, New Kent and Caroline, falling to Liberty and Fauquier among others that included Woodbridge and Garfield.
Meghan Fairbrother medaled coming in 13th overall with a time of 21:21. Jessica Gheen was 4Sth overall with a time of 23:15. Emily Sims was 69th; Lauren Sharp was 79th, and Caroline Baumgardner was SOth. Allison Lofton was 89th, and Robyn Kaye was 98th to complete the roster of RCHS runners.
The boys finished 10th out of 14 schools beating out Charlottesville, Caroline, Falls Church and Fauquier while falling to McLean, Osborn Park and Liberty among other.
