The Quintet has been working together for two years, each member carving time from busy work and family schedules for composition and rehearsal. When she is not playing the troubadour harp or providing vocal accompaniment for the Qujntet, Beth Levick teaches music, provides private voice and piano lessons, and is a director of the a capella singing, group, "The Eclectics." ■ Lyt Wood, one of the group's composers, has been a forester and arborist in the area for 20 years. He plays a hammer dulcimer that he designed and built at home.
In addition to playing the flute, Kathy Tester of Sperryville is the organist at St. Peter's Church in Washington. Her husband Scott plays the violin, and is the orchestra and chorus teacher at Warrenton Middle School. They have performed in Culpeper with the Piedmont Choral Society.
Cellist Judy Engen of Culpeper has played with ensembles and orchestras in Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Virginia. With her husband Steve and daughter Kyrsten, she operates a wood crafts business,
