At a Sept. 29 debate at The College of William and Mary, Mark Warner repeated his attacks on John Warner's votes to cut spending for Medicare and Medicaid and called attention to the senator's record on education issues.
"His priorities are to balance the budget, [but] we ought not balance the budget at the expense of Head Start and student loans and school lunches and Medicare," Mark Warner said.
