The investigation into the theft of money from RCHS and CCLC the weekend of Feb. 8 continues, said Major Rick Mac Welch of the Sheriffs Office. It is still unknown how much was taken from the high school, but about $60 is missing from CCLC. The Sheriffs Office is awaiting information from tests whioh are being conducted elsewhere. ' • An accident on U.S. 522 in Huntly on Feb. 11 caused $5000 damage to a UPS truck. - ’ The 1985 truck, operated by Richard Owens, 38, of Front Royal, was travelling north on U.S. when a 1990 van operated by Marialisa Delmare, 36, of Huntly, pulled out of a private driveway in front of Mr. Owens. He swerved to avoid hitting her, and ran off the right side of the road, striking an embankment.
