Daniel Digges had 10 points and three steals. B.J. had 16 points and six rebounds in the JV’s 40-36 win.
Varsity Coach Eugene Baltimore was not happy with his team's effort against Brentsville. "We got our butts kicked," he said. "They are a much bigger and stronger team, and thev pushed our kids around. Experience is a factor, and rebounding hull us. We have to get more physical under the basket." he said of the 95-70 loss.
Jeff Atkins had 25 points to lead the team. "He's been so consistent. Jeff is the glue that keeps us together. He leads us in rebounding; he does it all. Coach Baltimore .said of his senior starter.
Follow ing the loss to George Mason Friday, Coach Baltimore was still hoping for a win in their third meeting and a trip to the regional tournament, following Thursday’s tournament championship game, presumably against Brentsville. "It was a tough game.” he said of the 61-60 loss, "it went rieht down to the wire, and we fell short."
