Trinity to Host Lenten Services Trinity Episcopal Church of Washington will host ecumenical services for Lenten, is going on now and will continue each Wednesday until March 19. A fellowship “pot-luck” dinner at 6:15 starts each gathering; the Lenten service begins at 7 and ends at approximately 7:45. Other churches participating are the Flint Hill and Sperryville Methodists, St. Peter’s Catholic and Reynolds Memorial and Washington Baptists. Nursery care will be provided at no charge. Everyone is invited.

Black History Service Rescheduled The Deaconess of First Baptist Church in Washington have rescheduled their Black History service for Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. at the church. Dr. Hortense Hinton will be the guest speaker. Refreshments will be served. Deaconess Nan Butler Roberts, President and Rev. Wendall Grant, Pastor invites all to attend.
