The Rappahannock office of Habitat For Humanity, covered under the Fauquier Habitat For Humanity, is facing a dilemma. They have a group of highly qualified individuals ready and willing to help build a house and the necessary means to do so however they have no eligible family to work with.
Local coordinator, Bob Darby said, "We need people to apply. We need someone soon or the program will not be able to move along for this year.”
Habitat is a Christian housing ministry which provides local low income families, who live in substandard or overcrowded conditions, a way to afford simple, decent housing. They do this through volunteer labor, tax deductible donations, help from the Habitat family and a revolving "Fund for Humanity," which is derived from the funds from mort
