To the Editor:
This is an open letter to the person who recently read David Baldacci’s new book, "Total Control," available at the Rappahannock County Library. You were either the first or the second person to take this book out — I was the third.
I can not understand why you felt it necessary to mark your place by turning down the comer of die page. To deface this brand new book, as you did numerous times during the period you had it in your possession, is inexcusable. I hope the library now knows who you are and will be alert to checking the condition of the books you return in the future.
This is a pretty polite letter considering.
