Nellie Spencer Graves of Washington; a dear friend, Louise Hudson of Warrenton; a daughter, Donna Sinclair of Culpeper; three sons, John L. Graves, Jr. of Amissville, Robert Graves and Mike Graves, both of Warrenton.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lewis Graves and a son, Steven D. Graves Jan. 18, 1997.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 11 at Moser Funeral Home, Inc. in Warrenton. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 238, Washington, Va. 22747.
Wayne Butler
Samuel Wayn,e Butler, 60, of Boston died on Saturday, Feb. 15, at his residence.
Mr. Butler was born on Dec. 13, 1937, in Rappahannock County to the late George Richard and Beatrice Weaver Butler.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Burke Butler; three daughter. Carolyn Keithley of Rixeyville, Angela Butler of Boston and Tammy Butler of Alexandria and two grandchildren, Elise Marie and Nicholas Paul Keithley.
He is also survived by a son-inlaw, Paul Keithley; four brothers, George R. Butler of Culpeper, Paul F. Butler, Douglas Markwood Butler and Maurice Lee Butler, all of Boston and two sisters, Jean Biggs of Boston and Jane Thornhill of Culpeper.
Memorial services were held on Monday, Feb. 17 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Duncan officiating.
Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 715, Culpeper, Va. 22701.
Found and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
