Children who are five years old on or before Dec. 31, 1996 are eligible to play T-ball:

Registration fees from now through March 1 for the 1997 season: $30 for each player in T-ball, Minor, Major and all softball; $40 for 13-15 year old BabeRuth; $60 for 16-18 year old Senior BabeRuth. Family discounts: $5 for second child, $10 for the third, and $15 for the fourth. Late registration from March 2 to the day of tryouts on March 15 will include a $15 additional charge to the normal registration.

Amissville Girl Scout Troop 920 will be holding a cookie booth at the Food Lion store in Warrenton on Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each box will be $2.50 at the booth.

The Amissville Ruritan Club members are still taking orders for Ruby Red grapefruit and Temple oranges that arc scheduled to arrive in Amissville on Feb. 28. Prices are $10 for a 20 pound (2/5 bushel) box and $18 for a 40 pound (4/5 bushel) box of either fruit.
