to replace all of the green and white signs in the town with new wooden signs.The signs need to be painted with reflective paint to comply with 911. The price does not include installation. The new signs to replace existing green and white ones cost $350 each.
Mr. Lynch asked Treasurer van Dort if another bid could be obtained for doing the signs, saying that it looked like money was spent rather fast and that he felt that saving money for a sewer system was more important. He said, "Without a sewer system there is no future for this town." He added that the amount was 2.5 percent of the town budget.
Mr Skowronski said he agreed that it was a lot of money for the signs but asked Mr. Lynch to not mix it up with the sewer. Mayor Willis asked if another bid should be obtained. Ms. van Dort told Mr. Lynch to get the bid.
Mr. Gooch said that he felt that the town should support local craft people (Mr. Luebke is a county resident).
