Students and teachers were offered the opportunity to record both positive and negative comments on the change. On the positive side students said the 90-minute block schedule "allows more time for discussion," "teachers can. go more into detail," "the days seem to go by faster," and "better grades and a better feeling of accomplishment." Negative comments included "teachers lecture too much," "some classes seem too long,” "need longer breaks between classes" and "longer lunch period needed."
