Either the second Saturday of the month or White Oak Canyon is jinxed.
Twice, in January and February, Hunt Harris scheduled hikes into White Oak Canyon for the second Saturday of the month as part of the outreach program of the Ragged Mountain Resource Center. Twice these hikes have been snowed out.
