Rappahannock News Staff Writer ' Brentsville handed both of Rappahannock's volleyball teams defeats in the Bull Run District Tournament at George Mason ' Saturday.
At the varsity level the Panthers won the first game 15-12, but then the 'team fell apart as Brentsville won the next game 15-0. Brentsville was able to run up that score using only two servers, as the Panthers were completely stymied.
Coach Laura Conklin said the Brentsville fans got really loud. "It was hard for the kids to think and concentrate," she said. "The crowd really makes a difference.
