"We have other plans and options for the future that we're not ready to discuss yet," Peter said. "Those things will depend on funding and strong seasons for the businesses but her business has consistently grown and she offers services such as gift wrapping and mailing. She has a real sense of what to buy — what people want, what they find interesting."
"I'm a good shopper," Elaine says with a laugh.
"Those talents have really helped to keep the business strong and we have a lot of loyal clients and a good tourist business from The Inn and the other local restaurants. They make a real difference in that the visitor is here long enough to shop."
"Elaine pays a great deal of attention to those consumer groups and keeps them in mind when she is buying. The biggest challenge (for her) is to keep the children's., section under control," he said teasingly.
