District Projects
The Stonewall-Hawthome District projects that are in the current plan are:

No. 2: Five Forks Road from Rt. 621 east for 1.25 miles.
Reconstruction and widening of a gravel road.
Cost bids are now being reviewed by VDOT.
Project should begin within the next 30-60 days and be completed by mid-1998.
No. 3: Castleton View Road from .4 miles west Rt. 617 to Rt. 617.
Reconstruction and widening of a gravel road.
Projected timeframe same as No. 2.
No. 4: Whorton Hollow Road from .3 miles north Rt. ,619 to west Rt. 622 (approximately one mile in length).
Reconstruction and widening of a gravel road.
VDOT has not acquired the necessary right of way. May be delayed.
No. 6: Yancey Road from 1.5 miles west to U.S. 522 (approximately 1.5 miles).
