The menu includes authentic Pennsylvania-style Italian subs with capicola (sliced ham), salami and provolone; Thai-style curried shrimp salad with baby greens in a pita; Foccicia pizza; and hummus and assorted veggies in a pita with lemon-tahini dressing. Hogan worked hard to set up his bakery, hunting for used commercial baking equipment at auctions and yard sales in Northern Virginia. Everything cost twice what he expected to pay.
