The thought that people might be hungry or that children might be without gifts spurs organizations and individuals to action. From conversations with organization leaders, it is clear that much charity work is done on an individualized basis: one person, family, or company taking carp of the holiday needs of a single family. Yet there are a number of organizations that help out. Here are a few. The Jaycees are responsible for a large project called the Christmas Toy Workshop.
